About Miguel Sánchez Romero

Miguel Sánchez-Romero is on the staff of the Wittgenstein Center of the Vienna Institute of Demography/Austrian Academy of Science. Previously, he was a Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Rostock, Germany and a Fulbright Postdoctoral Researcher under the supervision of Ron Lee at the Center on the Economics and Demography of Ageing (CEDA) of the University of California, Berkeley. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. His research interests include the effects on economic growth of the interaction between demographic changes and intergenerational transfers. He has developed theoretical models and computable general equilibrium models based on NTA data.
