NTA data visualization

How do the major components of the NTA system compare across countries, regions, and income groups?

The visualization is based on publicly-released estimates that have been normalized to facilitate cross-country comparisons. Estimates for country groups are value weighted averages. Per capita values are normalized on the average of per capita labor income for persons 30-49, while the aggregate values are normalized on the average of aggregate labor income for persons 30-49.

More detailed estimates for countries/years are available in the NTA database. Data in the database are in the local current unit and are not normalized.

The sample of countries in regional and income groups varies with the availability of data. Thus, the variables reported from groups do not necessarily satisfy NTA properties that are satisfied for individual countries.
