Presentation: Julien Navaux, Marcel Mérette, Intergenerational Economy in Canada: A tale of two countries

Abstract

In this paper, we expand our previous work on the longitudinal dataset for Canadian regions based on the National Transfer Accounts (NTA) methodology. That work provided for the first time individual age profiles in Canada regions for the period between 1998 and 2013. In this paper, we expand the NTA analyses from 2014 to 2017. The expansion permits to shed light and compare the dynamics of age profiles between Quebec and the rest of Canada over 20 years.
