Andrew Mason and Ronald Lee. 2010. Introducing Age into National Accounts.

The purpose of this chapter is to describe the concepts underlying National Transfer Accounts, the methods used to construct them, and problems encountered in their construction. Many of the technical details are discussed in the NTA manual (Mason et al., 2009a). Issues discussed here are also treated in more depth in Lee, Lee, and Mason (2008) and Mason, Lee, Tung, Lai, and Miller (2009b). The methods build on earlier work by Lee (1980, 1994), Lee and Miller (1997) and Mason (1981, 1987).
