National Transfer Accounts and Policy: The 15th Global Meeting of the NTA Network, Bangkok, Thailand, March 10-13, 2025

We are pleased to release the Call for Papers above, welcoming submissions for the 15th Global Meeting of the National Transfer Accounts project from project members and anyone whose work addresses issues around the generational economy. We also welcome participants who are not presenting work, but want to learn more about the NTA approach to understanding how population and the economy interact. Please note a few important items:

The conference will be fully in person in Bangkok, Thailand. Speakers will be requested to post papers and slides (narrated if possible) so that those who cannot join in person may have access to presentations.
Presentations on Day 1 of the conference (March 10) will focus on Thailand, immediate neighbors, and Asia, in the context of the global NTA research network.
Days 2-4 (March 11-13) will consist of paper sessions, poster sessions, training workshops, and discussion sessions on topics of interest within the NTA network.
Lunch and morning and afternoon coffee breaks will be provided each day. There is a gala dinner currently scheduled for Monday evening.
The conference language is English, but there is a place in the registration form to request to present in other languages. We will hold non-English sessions if we receive enough requests.
Please scroll to the bottom of the page for a booking link to the conference hotel. However, participants are welcome to book at other hotels if they would prefer.

Fee Payment

Registration fees are collected through Eventbrite, using a credit card. The conference fee is US$400. This includes lunch and 2 coffee breaks each day, and one gala dinner. If you have trouble making the payment, please call your credit card company and authorize the transaction before submitting the credit card information on Eventbrite.

Travel Support for Global NTA15 Bangkok Conference

We are pleased to announce that we have some funds to support travel to the Global NTA15 Bangkok Conference. We anticipate that we will only be able to support travel by participants who are members of the NTA network and authors or co-authors of papers being presented at the conference, one supported participant per paper. We typically can only fund one person per country, with preference given to lower-income country team members. The following criteria will be used in awarding travel grants:

An abstract has been submitted for consideration
Applicant is member of NTA Network
Applicant is a citizen/resident of a low- or middle-income country
Applicant is seeking or has secured partial travel support from other institutions

Our goal is to support as many people as possible and encourage all applicants to seek full or partial travel support from other sources. We would particularly encourage multi-person teams to pursue support from other sources.
