About Marina Zannella

Marina Zannella is a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Vienna Institute of Demography in Austria. She holds a Ph.D. in Demography from the University of Rome “Sapienza” where, as part of her doctoral dissertation, she developed NTA and National Time Transfer Account (NTTA) estimates for Italy. Her main areas of interest are the macroeconomic consequences of population ageing, intergenerational public and private transfers, and lifecycle gender differences in time use. Her current research focuses on the comparative analysis of welfare arrangements within the family and their implications for the gender division of market and non-market work and leisure inequality.
