About the presenters

Kevin Yu-Ching Hsieh is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica (IEAS) in Taiwan. His work focuses on population economics, applied econometrics, and social security systems, and he has been involved in developing the NTA for Taiwan. He has a Ph.D. from Kobe University in Japan.

Nicole Mun Sim Lai is a Population Affairs Officer at the United Nation Population Division in New York. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Hawaii at Manoa. Before joining the United Nations, she was an Assistant Professor in Economics at California State University at Bakersfield and a Senior Lecturer at Monash Unversity Sunway Campus. Her research focuses on intergenerational transfers, population aging, population policy, and development, and she has been actively involved in the NTA project since its

An-Chi Tung is an Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica (IEAS) in Taiwan. She is a development economist with a special focus on East Asia. She studies industrial policies and began working on population economics after joining the NTA project a decade ago.
